What’s the relationship between Anas and late JB Danquah’s wife – Ken asks



The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has asked investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, to come public on the kind of relationship that exist between him and the wife of late Abuakwa North MP, Jospeh Boakye Danquah-Adu.

Two people, Daniel Asiedu and Bosso are on trial at the High Court after more than a year of committal proceedings at a district court.

A brother of the late MP, Kwasi Frimpong who has been speaking for the family has been demanding the immediate arrest of Mrs Ivy Danquah-Adu as they believe she can offer more leads that would help unravel the mystery surrounding the death of the businessman and MP.

“I am emphasizing that the wife (Ivy Danquah-Adu) should be arrested immediately…she would tell the actual truth behind the murder, the family knows that she knows something about the death…,” he said on Adom FM’s Midday News on Wednesday, 10th May, 2017.

Mr Ken Agyapong who is pursuing the investigative journalist is also demanding that Anas comes clear on the sort of relationship that exists between the two.

“If he dares me, I will ask him if he knows Ivy, JB’s wife, and for how long…I will show him pictures from UK and Dubai…I am challenging Anas…,” he said.

IGP moves 91 officers, new Commanders to be named next week

Some 91 uniformed senior officers of the Ghana Police Service and many in the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) are moving to new offices in a massive shake-up ordered by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante-Apeatu. Easter celebrations: 3 drown at Tawala beach on Good Friday

Three persons are reported dead after they drowned at the Tawala Beach at La in Accra. The deceased were part of a youth fellowship team of fifteen people who went to the beach to pray on Good Friday. The incident occurred after some of the team members decided to swim after their prayer session. In an attempt to save their drowning friend, the two others also drowned. Speaking to Citi News, a brother of one of the deceased, Kwame Mac-Joseph, said the absence of lifeguards at the Tawala beach is to blame for the deaths. “In the course of the swimming, one person was drowning and the next person wanted to help and he got drowned.
