Snake bites woman’s private part in Volta Region

A woman has died after she was bitten by a snake at Dambai in the Krachi East District of the Volta Region, according to a report by Accra-based Kasapa FM.
Eyii Akuvi, 44, was returning from the farm with her husband, Aziagome Akuvi, when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Eyii had gone into the bush to ease herself when the snake bit her private part.
She is said to have screamed out in pain, drawing the attention of her husband who had been waiting for her by the roadside.

Concluding that the snake bite was a spiritual attack, Aziagome is said to have put his wife on a bicycle and rushed her to a fetish priest for spiritual and herbal treatment.
However, she failed to survive the snake bite, dying later at the fetish priest’s home.
