I didn’t kill my mother-Maame Serwaa

Rising Kumawood star, Clara Amoateng Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa has dismissed claims she killed her mother for ritual money.

Maame Serwaa who was reacting to questions on public perception on the Delay Show, Sunday, April 8, 2018, denied using her mother for rituals to make her rich.

“It is never true. Kill my mum for what? I was accused of killing my mum few days after her death,” she told Delay.

She was surprised such a story could be fabricated and concocted against her in the trying moments of her family, at the time they were grieving.

“The accuser did not even wait for us to finish her one-week observation service. I am told one ‘osofo maame’ came up with those claims. Another pastor also accused me of being a member of Illuminati. I don’t even know what Illuminati is. I don’t own a car,” she told Delay.

Respect ban on corporal punishment – GES warns teachers

The Ghana Education Service [GES], has warned that teachers in both private and public schools who inflict Corporal punishment on students would be appropriately dealt with per the guidelines of the service. IGP moves 91 officers, new Commanders to be named next week

Some 91 uniformed senior officers of the Ghana Police Service and many in the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) are moving to new offices in a massive shake-up ordered by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante-Apeatu. A source in the Police hinted that the transfer is strategic, and in some cases involves officers who have been at their current locations for so many years.
